Overview
The information and knowledge revolution is transforming organisations.
As a result, workers are responding differently to their leaders.
The Center for Creative Leadership Survey in 2007, found that
to be effective, leaders increasingly need to be proficient
in coaching their subordinates to perform. For peers and colleagues
not subjected to the authority of the leaders, they need to
be convinced and persuaded to effect action. In addition,
the leaders have to be adapt in managing the inevitable conflicts
with bosses and colleagues. This series introduces a set of
sophisticated leadership skills to allow modern leaders to
engage their stakeholders effectively.
What differentiate
our programs:
| • |
We believe that for learning
and application to take root, we need to address
all 3 aspects of any competency/topic:

Our programs are developed and researched to include
the best-in-class concepts and practices.
|
| • |
For each program, we ensure
there is pre-program preparation
in understanding the organisation's and participants'
needs and objectives in this subject matter. We
do so by interviewing or surveying stakeholders
and participants as well as providing an assessment
tool to allow each participant to evaluate his/her
current capability (pre-program) and even subsequent
progress (post-program). Each assessment
can be used for self and/or 360-degree purposes.
|
| • |
We offer post-program
support in the form of coaching, enhancement
sessions and creation of communities of practice
to help entrench the learning and application for
long-term effectiveness.
|
| • |
Each program design focuses
on hands on practice for the participants.
The practice uses scenarios and cases that we customise
to reflect the organisation's real situations and
circumstances.
|
| • |
Each program adopts a reflective
action approach: The emphasis is on practice:
before the learning takes place and then again after
the learning. This allows for a powerful reflection
of the difference in application before and after
the learning. This reflection helps to enhance clearer
understanding and buy-in of the use of the learning.
|
| • |
Each program will consolidate
the learning and application into a practical action
template that serves as a guide for the
participant to apply the learning back in the workplace
