Thailand
Pansak Kummalue is the Director of DistincTions
Asia Thailand. He brings with him over 20 years of experience
in training, consulting, certification and inspection in the
areas of business excellence, quality management and service
quality. He has held senior management positions in several
organisations in Thailand.
Experience
Pansak has extensive experience in best practices in management
toward performance excellence. He started out to specialise
in quality system management (ISO 9000 and other international
standards eg; ISO 14000, SA 8000, QS 9000 etc.). He then
became proficient in consulting and training with clients
using productivity improvement tools and management techniques
such as World Class Manufacturing Practices, Performance Excellence
Program, Management Assessment, TQM, TPM, Six Sigma, Balanced
Scorecard, Team Building, Cross Functional, Service Quality,
Business Process Improvement etc.
Background & Qualifications
Pansak spent 12 years in several management positions with
SGS (Thailand) with a variety of overall responsibilities
including strategic planning, budgeting, sales and marketing,
and operation of several divisions. He was awarded the “1993
SGS Performance Award “from the SGS headquarter in Geneva
for outstanding achievements in the significant improvement
of service quality and the development of new services and
techniques in SGS Thailand.
Pansak then joined Thailand Productivity Institute, the national
institute which has the mission to improve the country overall
productivity as the Director of Consulting and Training Division.
He is instrumental in initiating the Thailand Quality Award.
He had actively participated as an assessor for the Thailand
Quality Award and Prime Minister Best Industry Award.
He is concurrently the Managing Director of Managing Director
of Inspectorate (Thailand) Co. Ltd, an international leading
independent inspection organization.
